I see this scrapbook bug flying around, but I know I won't be nearly active enough on LJ to actually bother with updating it often with LJ-related stats. That being said, I do really need a place to put down things I've done over the year. Why? Because I want to do more, and I can't do that without knowing what I'm starting with. So I suppose you could call this a scrapbook for 2013. I'll be updating on things I've read and seen, both new and old, and I'm really hoping I stick to recording this stuff here

lately, I feel like I haven't performed well enough in school.

I mean, my grades aren't terrible - I've passed everything so far, I'm doing really well (only A's) in Sociology, I'm passing Econs, which is pretty good in my book, but I got my last linguistic assignment back and I got 58%. And I realized my new tutorial group met up to discuss it, and I can't help but feel that I've been part of that, I might have gotten more - gotten a B instead. It's not like a C's bad, it's still 'Good' according to the handbook, but I want better.

And I'm working on 3 essays now. I finished Sociology, am starting on Linguistics and leaving Econs till my tutorial like the teacher said we should. But, I feel like, I don't know, there's so much more I could or maybe SHOULD do?

We're leaving for Inverness/Isle of Skye - me, the boyfriend and two other friends. We're going for four days. My boyfriend's worried cause he has an essay due two days after coming back, but I just feel sometimes like I'm not 'focused' enough. I'm probably not, but I hate this feeling of just inadequacy, of not doing enough or feeling like enough. And I hate that something as stupid as grades on a paper can make me feel this way.

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you all had a bloody fantastic time celebrating Christmas Eve (presents, yes/yes? :D) with everyone you love and care about. I know I did, and it was amazing, and I've still got a few weeks to go in Singapore and it's going along swimmingly - couldn't be more pleased! (:

This is Round 33 for the thebau20in20 challenge. It was a bit of a rush because life got in the way, so it's not as nice as I would've wanted - but I wanted to submit something anyway so this is it.
